  And wake up at 0520 to a very ANGRY baby this morning!!! "Mama, how DARE you keep me waiting!" "Mama, how DARE you let my leg come out of my Swaddler!" "Mama, how DARE you change my wet and stinky diaper!" "Mama, how DARE you take off my wet onesie!" "Mama, how DARE you wipe me off with a COLD, WET wipe since I peed on myself!" "Mama, how DARE you put kisses on my face!" "Mama, how DARE you.... oh, I'm hungry! Chomp, chomp, chomp!!!" Many tears were shed, none by me I'm happy to announce, and all was back to normal by 0600. And now he's safely tucked away in blankets in his crib and I'm on the computer to add a smile to your face today. All before 0700. Have a great day! :) |

ANGRY baby!!!
You'd never guess that last night I put this sweet, angelic little boy to bed at 11:15 PM...

ReplyDeleteReminds me of when you were born...your mother and I sat on the bed, holding you and crying tears of joy and scaredness(?) simultaneously. Ashley, your words are the same as parents all over the world.
ReplyDeleteI was reminded of the picture we had in Amy's room on her dresser for many years that showed a baby crawling out from under a blanket and read,(or words to the effect) "Lord, once our love was only words. Thank you for giving our love life." That has stuck with me throughout my lifetime...Love, Dad
