- wearing 3 month clothes
- wearing size 1 diapers, but we don't know how long that will last
- we aren't sure how much he weighs, but we'll find out on the 22nd
- if propped up, he can sit for a bit without falling/leaning to the side
- pretty good at holding his head up, not quite the "bobble head" he used to be
- he's content to look around after he eats
- when I hold him, one hand grabs the collar of my shirt
- likes the blankets pulled up around his face (in the carseat, in the swing)
- is starting to like the swing
- looks so BIG in the punkin' seat now!! I have to start strapping him in! :)
- enjoys being in the exersaucer in the kitchen and really likes it when I bounce it up and down for him (since his legs don't reach the floor!); gets frustrated when it stops bouncing
- is starting to move his body when he hears music
- learning how to use his voice to make little sounds
- gets woken up for the last time at 9:30 PM, changed, fed, and usually asleep between 10:15-10:30 PM
- sleeps anywhere from 7-10 hours at night. Yes, I said 10 hours.
- names we call him: Samuel, Sam'l, Buddy, Fat Baby, Baby
*And when he was crying the other night, I KNOW I heard him say "mama". I don't care what the critics say!!! ;)
We went back to church today after our 2 month hiatus. It felt good to go back, but I have to say I was distracted with checking on Samuel every few minutes. He did really well. We think the music scared him, but he slept through the service just fine. I think next week I'll stay in the "Cry Room" with him until the music is over, then we'll join Jacob for the service.
And here he is in his new outfit, all ready to go!
Thanks for reading!
P.S. We made progress with the rice cereal tonight. I added a little bit of the baby pears to it, and he ate it without crying. He made the most disgusted face (and made us laugh), but he didn't cry!
