Hot Baby :(

Yesterday was a big day in our house- Samuel turned 3 months old!!! Hard to believe he's been in our lives (in person) for 3 months now. It's crazy to think of our life before him.  :)

I got a phone call from Kathi around lunchtime yesterday that Samuel wasn't feeling well. I finished up my work and went to pick him up. I took off my blouse when I got there (still in my t-shirt) so we could snuggle. He was so H-O-T!!! I kissed on him and loved on him and he seemed to calm down. Kathi's helper, Shelby, commented that sometimes sick babies just need their mamas. I put him in the carseat and he was NOT happy. So I unsnapped a few snaps on his jammies, and rolled down the windows in the car. He was soon asleep. And much cooler.

I stopped at Walgreen's on our way home to get a good thermometer and some extra medicine. (in case we ran out) Once we got home I stripped him down to his diaper and put him on the tummy time mat downstairs. A little later he was back in a fresh onesie. And by the time Jacob came home he was a happy camper, talking and squeeling.
