Friday was "Amanda's Day." She had 3 wedding dresses that she was undecided about and wanted Amy and I to give our opinions on. So we headed to Hampton, through the tunnel, and walked into The Magical World Of Wedding Dresses. And I was in love. All over again. It took me back, over 3 years ago, to a Tuesday when I walked into David's Bridal and walked out with a dress. She may or may not have bought a dress, but either way it was a lot of fun. And Samuel hung in there the whole time. Only cried twice and each time it was short, 10 seconds or so to let us know he was wet or hungry. So thankful for that.
Saturday we headed to the Navy Exchange at Oceana (VA Beach) so the girls could look at flip flops, makeup, and a few other things. We had a good time and each got some fun things. I never take the time to browse around the NEX, and it was even more fun to do it with my sisters. We had plans to meet up with Morgan, but due to the weather it didn't happen. By the time we got home, Jacob was off work (he was duty this weekend) and we finished the day with Chinese food. It was fun to order a bunch of different things spread it all out on the kitchen table. The 4 of us had fun chatting about the day, eating, and just enjoying each other's company.
Amanda and Amy headed back up to Baltimore early Sunday morning, and I crashed. As soon as they left, I put Samuel back in his crib and headed RIGHT BACK TO BED. It was a fun weekend, but a busy weekend. Samuel had a rough time. He missed his aunties and all the attention he got from them, and Mama and Daddy just couldn't make him happy. Poor guy. :( Jacob and I straightened up the house, and prepared for the week!
Here are some photos from our weekend adventures...

Love reading about the weekend. I know the girls had a blast with Samuel. It does my heart good to know how much you all love being together. I know Samuel misses his aunties! They miss him too. Grandma will come soon to see him again. This is a well loved baby!
