Gettin' Crafty

Today wasn't too bad. I had a dental cleaning appointment and it went well. Nothing exciting.

We have decided to start giving Samuel cereal at night. He woke up Sunday night AND Monday night because he was hungry. Of course he screamed when we gave it to him tonight. It was almost too much for me.  :(

After he was bathed, fed, and in bed, Jacob and I worked on our uniforms. The Navy changes over from Dress Blues to Dress Whites on April 9th, and our command is having a uniform inspection this Thursday to make sure we are all squared away. (uniforms ready to go) So I pulled out my sewing machine (one of 3!! that we have at our house) and we got to work.

We each sew the patches on our own uniforms

Tomorrow night we're going to get everything pressed and make sure our ribbons are in place. I plan on getting some pictures on Thursday of us in uniform. (And don't worry- I have a plan for getting out the door with a 3.5 month old while in a totally white uniform)  ;)
Every 4 years in the Navy you get a service stripe. I'm pretty proud that I now have 3 = 12 years of service!

And here are 2 scrapbook layouts from my monthly class that are *almost* done. I just need to add titles to them and journal a bit.
