- What if he's not big enough to fit?
- What if I can't get him in/out and people stare?
- What if he flops over and I get nasty looks from people?
- How will I maneuver him and shop?
- WHAT IF HE CRIES?????
Well, as always, none of that happened. :) Last Friday, after picking up Samuel, I decided to run to Michael's after work. Jacob wasn't off yet, it was pretty early, and I could do it and then not have to run out later on. So I took a deep breath, and did it.
I got a nice close parking spot right at the front. Someone had kindly left a buggy in the mulch RIGHT NEXT TO MY CAR. Thank you!!! I got Samuel out (he ate at Kathi's before we left) and changed his nappy in the trunk. I used my new buggy/high chair cover, and got him situated. With my wallet, his blanket, and my cammie cover, he was pretty propped up and had stuff to look at. The extra bottle fit in the pocket on the back of the cover. I DID IT!!! Mission: ACCOMPLISHED!!! :)
Better shopping company than Jacob ;)
All done. Can we go now?
Chillin' in the buggy,"That was easy, Mama."
I'm still not sure I'm ready for the grocery store yet... ;)
If you made it through Michales, I think the grocery store will be a piece of cake!
