Some days are just like that

Today was another H-O-T day. We dropped off the Escape last night to have it looked at, so I'm driving Jacob's Ford Focus and he's driving my S-10. Aaaaaand his car's air conditioning leaves something to be desired.  :( So by the time Samuel and I got home today we were hot and exhausted. Jacob got home and entertained Samuel for a bit so I could catnap on the couch. I didn't have any energy to cook (even though I had chicken thawed out) so we did something we haven't done in a LONG time- waffles for dinner. Super easy. Zero cleanup. Ready in 5 minutes.

The towel is protecting the back counter since I tend to get cooking spray everywhere. I always add pecans.  :) And yes, we ate standing up. Jacob is watching "Rocky" on tv.

Of course this little person wanted to see what Mama and Daddy were up to. I didn't think he was that big, but he looks like he doesn't fit in the punkin' seat anymore!

His hair has been like that All. Day. Long.  :)

We turned our backs, and he was trying to escape!!!

And now he's in his room with Jacob. He has 2 little teeth that have popped through his bottom gums and they make him uncomfortable. If he's awake, so are we....
