Happy 4th!

I meant to post yesterday. I also meant to wake up on time, eat breakfast at home, and get to work on time. That's what I MEANT to do. Instead I woke up when I was supposed to be walking out the door (Samuel and I got to hang out from 2-3AM), had to rush , and had to occupy Samuel in my room/block him from the bathroom so I could get ready. Yeah, I definitely deserve to have today off.  :)

It's his first 4th of July and Jacob is on the ship. (USS Truman) Boo! So we'll have to make do. My Mom told me about some new stuff at Joann Fabric's so I guess Samuel and I will have to check it out.  ;)

After a run to Joann Fabrics where I didn't find what I was looking for (but still spent money!), and a quick stop in Trader Joe's, we were homeward bound. By the time we got home, Samuel was out!! I got the carseat out of the car, and I think he slept for another hour. That baby was tired!

We were invited to our neighbors' house for a cookout and swim, so when he woke up we got into our suits and headed over. I didn't think Samuel would last too long with all the people and the heat, plus I didn't think he'd enjoy the water. Boy, was I wrong!!! See for yourself!  :)
