I had a request to see what I've been up to with my Project Life album. Please excuse the poor photos. I planned to take pictures in natural light....and then we had rain. Lots of it! I love rain, don't get me wrong, but it's not conducive to photos.
July 16-22:
Had sushi with my girlfriend Chris, Samuel stood up in his crib, Dr. Seuss card from sister Amy, went to 2 birthday parties: one at a Bounce House and one at the zoo
I put the card in a 6x12 page protector and trimmed it down. The clip keeps it in the pocket.

Right side

July 23-29:
Lots of standing, Jacob came home, Samuel sleeping in funny places
July 30- August 5:
Jacob left, Samuel in the tub, a picture from upstairs looking out to the yard, Samuel's g-friend Katie
I didn't have room for a journal card, so I tucked it behind the last photo with a tab sticking out.
August 6-12:
I didn't have a lot of pictures, so I filled up spots with "filler"- packaging from foods we've eaten, a postcard that came in the mail, a piece of scrapbook paper.
I also finished a scrapbook layout from one of my monthly classes that I missed...
Team Thomas
These pictures were taken when Samuel was 4 (!!) months old. My friend Morgan Miller did an amazing job at capturing our family of 3. I wasn't sure what to use for this layout, but I think changing the pictures to black and white helped pull it all together.
Left side- felt border and flower
Right side- felt hearts, wooden buttons on top of the pictures
And with the leftover scraps, I decorated journal cards for Project Life this week.

Thanks for looking! Sorry for the delay!! :)
I love it, Ashley! You are an AMAZING scrapbooker! :)
ReplyDeleteYea!! Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the 2 new PL "colors"/themes coming out? Do you know which one you want for next year?
Also, I'm going to go ahead and ask for more of what you've done with your Silhouette. :) You know, in your spare time. ;)
