Early this morning, Jacob left to head to the USS Truman for duty. He has to be onboard for 24 hours. Boo! So he won't be home until tomorrow morning, probably around 9 AM. Samuel woke up about 8:30 AM. (we got to hang out twice in the middle of the night, so he slept in) I dressed him in a cute outfit (of course!), he had a bottle, and we hung out. (Outfit #1) I was talking to my Mom on the phone when I looked down at his booty...and it looked like it had 3 drops of shoe polish on it. Umm, no. Diaper and outfit change. (Outfit #2) We came back downstairs, and I reheated my coffee. Then made the
intelligent decision to put it on the end table. Where my son decided to stand up, grab it, and pull it down on top of him. Sigh. Warm coffee on a VERY startled boy. Outfit #3. No one was hurt in the spilling of the coffee. It was barely above room temp. I proceeded to do housework, and while he was in his bouncer, I looked down to see a wet spot on the carpet. Yep, you guessed it. Diaper and outfit change. Again. Outfit #4. I think he plans this stuff for when Daddy is on duty. :)
So we spent the day together with Samuel supervising me doing housework. I tried to get him to nap. Twice. Unsuccessfully. He can't nap! Who will supervise me??? So that was our day. Pictures were few and far between, but I did manage to take 1...
Eating puffs- oblivious to the one on his nose :)
I need to start taking my camera out of my backpack. I'm slacking! :)
Hey, Ashley - I'm glad no one got hurt by the coffee. Samuel seems to be quite a diligent supervisor! :) I love the puff on his nose. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet boy - amazing mom!
The puff is so funny. Glad you had Samuel to "keep you company". Never a dull moment!
ReplyDeleteLittle boys (and girls, trust me) will keep you busy, busy, busy on your toes! :) Miss you!!
