December Daily, Day 20 and album cover

It's hard to believe we've been on Leave (vacation) for 3 days now! The time just flies!!! Today was all about fun and play. I played with paper worked on the Christmas cards and the boys played with cars. A fun time was had by all.  :)

Day 20

I printed 3x4 photos with a border on my Epson PictureMate. I LOVE that thing!!! The page was a little "white" so I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Santa Baby. The washi tape on top is from K & Co. (Michael's Craft Store) and the bottom is from Target.

Once I started misting, I couldn't stop. My original plan for my December Daily album was to cut some subway art-type design out of vinyl with my Cameo. That is, until I went to Michael's yesterday. (Remember the trip for 1 pack of paper?)  ;)

Here's my album, a binder from Staples

Decoration from Michael's Craft store

It came with a stand so you can set it up on a table. I see inspiration!

Thank you, husband, for taking a picture of me unwrapping a spray bottle...

P.S. Expedit Bookshelf from Ikea. Best. Purchase. Ever!!!!! Boxes moved from the top rows to bottom rows to 1 year old Samuel-proof my stuff.  :)

Here is where it gets really technical:

Hold the wood decoration over a trash can, spray with green paint. Spray additional shimmer if you so choose. (My creative inspiration ALWAYS hits late at night. I am NOT standing in my cold garage to spray a decoration!)

Add a little Glossy Accents to the back, and some heavy books to help the glue set, and Presto! You have a decorated (but not gaudy) December Daily album!!! I still plan to cut out 2012 and adhere it to the spine.

Thanks for looking!  :)
