Non-Birthday/Non-Christmas present

I'm going to start this post by saying I'm the worst granddaughter ever. My child received a box in the mail awhile ago (I won't say how long) and he just opened it yesterday. It wasn't for his birthday, it wasn't even supposed to be saved for Christmas. Life just got in the way, and you know how that goes. Every time I'd think to have him open it, he'd be going down for a nap, or we'd be doing bath and bed, or whatever. It was never the right time. Plus, I wanted to take pictures to share.  :)

Well, illness has run rampant in our home between Samuel and I, and I ended up getting 2 days of SIQ (Sick In Quarters) to get well from a sinus infection. Basically, the Navy said "go home for 2 days and get well!!!" Thursday I worked a deal with Kathi to keep Samuel an extra hour so I could get some rest. (Because of COURSE Jacob was on duty!)  :(

The reason I'm telling you all this is because on Friday, while Samuel and I were taking it easy at home, I was able to take pictures of him opening his present from his Great-G'ma and Great-G'pa Stevens.

Not sure why he needed to hold the bear the whole time...

I love it!

I know how to wear a jacket!

GO VOLS!!!!!!!

Thanks so much!!! We love the new clothes!  :)

P.S. The train shirt he's wearing is also from you.  ;)
