Back to the grind yesterday for Samuel and I. He's been fussy lately due to teething, so I didn't know how the day would go. After running a 5K (most of which was on the beach-NOT what I signed up for) I came home to shower before picking him up. Jacob surprised me, literally, by arriving home about 15 minutes after me. We drove to Kathi's together, and surprised Samuel.
Once we got home he played ball outside with his Daddy.

After an easy dinner of Gorditas, it was time for a bath and bed. Samuel decided to lay on his belly in the tub and "swim" back and forth! Then, he surprised me by first putting his chin in the water, and then his face, THREE TIMES!!! I love seeing him grow and learn and try new things. :)
I got all my new scrapbook stuff put away from my trip home, and we called it a night!
I'm so glad you are home safe and sound - and even more glad that you could be in Knoxville for the wedding. Samuel is getting so big! He is soooo cute, Ashley. What a sweet boy. Becca LOVED her time with you and she and Matt loved being at the wedding. We love you!
