A monkey escaped from the zoo!

It's been a pretty low key weekend. Sooo happy that Jacob gets a 3 day weekend! We haven't done anything exciting (so far), but just hang out around the house. Housework?....yeah, eventually! Just had to share these 2 pictures I took yesterday. What could be cuter than Samuel in a monkey outfit with monkeys ON HIS FEET???!!!! Nothing!!  :)

It's so cool to see him start to SEE things! Jacob pulled out this mat from our sweet friends Becca, Forist, and Lily, and Samuel was enthralled. It's neat to see the first (of many) baby toys in our den.

I also worked on his room a little bit over the weekend. He's no longer a newborn (yeah!!) and his Newborn and Gerber size 0-3 clothes don't fit anymore. We've been feeding him (or rather, he's been eating like crazy!!) and his little buddha belly won't fit in the newborn stuff. He's officially in the Carter 0-3 clothes. (Gerber runs really small) I look at all the 6 month and beyond stuff in his closet and think "it's only a matter of time..."
