Not today...sigh

Yesterday, with a little grumbling and ZERO motivation (it was cold out) we packed up our little boy and headed out. To the Ford dealership. We knew what we wanted to get and were excited to get it because we picked it out this summer when it was VERY hot and I was VERY pregnant. And yes, I can drive it very pregnant.  :)  But we didn't buy it then because I wanted to wait. It was a family car and we weren't a family yet. And so we waited. Fast forward to last night...

We got to the dealership and spoke with an amazing salesman. He was great. We told him we wanted a Ford Escape in metallic blue. Jacob pulled out the paperwork we brought and off we went. Got everything done and signed for, but it was at another dealership. No problem! We'll pick it up tomorrow! So tonight we go back, again, to get our car. Only there was miscommunication. And the interior wasn't what we wanted. Sigh. So we packed up a (now) fussy little boy and headed home. So Thursday should be the day that the Thomases drive home their New. Family. Car. That Ashley will drive to and from work since she'll be taking Samuel to the home care provider.  :)

Thank you for all the kind words, texts, and prayers. Samuel and I had a MUCH better day today. I paid attention to his "I'm tired Mommy" cues and put him back to bed when needed. I was even able to take a 1.5 hour nap mid morning, and he napped throughout the day. When Jacob came home this afternoon, Samuel had been asleep for at least an hour and I was in the process of making pecan chocolate chip cookies. I was pretty proud of myself, if I do say so myself.  :)
