Grab a Snickers....long post ahead!

So I told myself when I started this blog that I'd post every day. Then I realized....um, I have a newborn. That's NOT going to happen. And then I went back to work, and Samuel went to childcare, and I had to get up at 4:30 AM to get ready and then get HIM ready and.....life happened. But I'm back.  :)

This week has been pretty crazy. I had the Navy-wide advancement exam for E-6 on Thursday, so the past week or so has been spent getting ready for that. (I'll find out if I advance sometime in June) Jacob was on Full Samuel Alert while I was studying. We went out last Saturday night to celebrate a friend's birthday with hibachi, but other than that we've stayed at home. Plus, Samuel is still congested so we had no reason to leave our house.

2 month appt on the 23rd: Samuel weighs 13 lbs, 1 oz!!!

Looking in his ears; he got 3 shots, cried for 2 minutes and was good to go! All the nurses kept telling me how cute and chubby he was. That's why we love him!

Samuel has been quite the popular one with mail lately. When I get a few minutes next week, I plan to take pictures of him with his new stuff.
