Around here

Things have been pretty crazy lately. Samuel hasn't been feeling well, so Thursday morning I got permission to set up a Dr appt during working hours. It turns out that Samuel has the start of another ear infection in his right ear  :( and needs to do breathing treatments with an inhaler. You'd never guess by the visit that he doesn't feel well.  :)

Jacob wasn't supposed to be home until Sunday, but things change. Yesterday afternoon I was at work when "Hey, PR1! You have a phone call. It's your husband!" I ran to the phone to find out that Jacob was....at home!!! What?!? So after PT (physical training) at 2 PM, I hurried to pick up Samuel from Kathi's and get home.

Jacob wanted to run to Walmart to grab a few things for his rack on the ship, and then we had to head to the shipyards in Portsmouth to drop him off.

We weren't really sure how to get ON the base, and that was frustrating since Liberty expired at 8 PM. Both of us were stressing over Jacob getting in trouble, and then it was time to say goodbye.

I'm not sure when he'll be back, but he says it's less than 10 days. I love how the Navy keeps us so well informed.  :(
