Yesterday morning I woke up and my stomach was bothering me. By the time I got to work, it was hurting even more. Then I started to get these weird stomach pains every now and then. They hurt so bad I was having to breathe through them like labor pains! What?!? I went to Medical and was given SIQ (Sick in Quarters) for 2 days. I was told to go home, lay down, and drink clear liquids. On Tuesday, I was to eat from the BRAT diet. (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) :( So I dropped off the carseat at Kathi's, and went home to lay down and lay low. Jacob picked up Samuel last night, and got me some french onion soup. (Hey! I was hungry!!)
Today, I slept. A lot. And my stomach doesn't hurt. I had 3 tubes of blood drawn and a urine sample submitted. But you know what? I don't think they'll find anything. I think God wanted me to rest. How else am I going to get caught up on sleep with a deployable husband??? This was a blessing. I feel MUCH better, the pains are gone, and I'm rested, refreshed, and ready for Wednesday. :)
This evening, my Sailor had to leave for sea again. I did much better this time with his departure. Last time- cried 3 times. This time- NO TEARS!!!
My boys- you can see Samuel smiling behind his binky :)
