Standing is our new favorite thing
Life was getting rough, so he decided to run away.
Yesterday was a lot of fun. I pulled up to the pier right as Jacob came through the gate, so he didn't even have to wait. I was SO excited to see him that I forgot to put the car in Park...and we started to roll! Talk about embarrassing!! Samuel was asleep, so he didn't know Jacob was there.
We were about 3 miles from our house, driving down US-17, in the rain, when the drawbridge sign alerted us. Two cars and a truck in front of us crashed into each other because the first car thought about running the bridge, and then changed her mind!!! Can you believe it?!? RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!!! I had complete control of our car and was able to stop with room to spare. I got out to make sure everyone was ok. About that time Samuel woke up...and before he could fuss...his Daddy joined him in the back seat!
Until we got home, all I could hear was the sounds of those 2 laughing back and forth at each other. Jacob quickly got a shower (he DID smell like the ship, after all!) and we headed out for Samuel's immunizations appointment. He did really well, and only cried about 10 seconds. As soon as I picked him up, he was fine. That boy is a champ!
We headed back home, and decided to stop at Chili's for dinner. Samuel did pretty well at entertaining himself considering how excited he was to see Jacob and how tired he was getting. We ended dinner with their Molten Chocolate Cake, my favorite dessert of all time. Samuel got his first experience of chocolate cake, chocolate and caramel syrups, and ice cream!!! Delicious!!!
Mmmmmm!
Smacking his lips
Loving every bite!
Thanks for looking!
