Tired Mama

I'm sure experienced Moms know that when you're tired, the babies have TONS of energy. Well, I learned that this weekend. This was a long, tiring weekend. Samuel and I were up a few times, and then about 9:30am or so this morning, I figured I'd keep him up for a bit. I decided that I would take my pillow, grab his blanket, and nap on the floor in the bonus room while he played. Yeah, right.

Eating Mama's face- num, num, num!

Finally I decided that if he was going to mess with me, then I would mess with him!  :) I tickled him, kissed him to death, and rolled him all over the place. When I noticed he was getting tired, I scooped him off and to bed he went! We were both able to get an hour and a half nap before getting ready for my girlfriend Chris to come over.

The 3 of us headed out to Wicker's Crab Pot for lunch (past Samuel's daycare) and stopped at Sam's Club on the way back. Chris was a GREAT help with keeping Samuel sane so I could pick up diapers, wipes, formula, and diaper genie refills. AND we found SOPHIE THE GIRAFFE!!!!! I've heard many things about her, and finally caved in and spent the $25. I will get pictures soon. She is a plastic teething giraffe that is amazing! Samuel chewed on her as soon as I gave her to him.

Tonight Samuel ate turkey, sweet potatoes, and prunes. My little monkey hasn't been feeling well, so he really hasn't wanted to eat. I got quite a bit of food in him, and was able to take some pictures as well. Multitasking at it's best!  :)
