Samuel only woke up for a 1 hour period all night last night. From 2-3AM we were together. Every time I would go in his room, he would be standing up in his crib. I am NOT used to seeing that!! :) He finally went down at 3:05...and I didn't wake up until 6:05!!! Ten minutes AFTER we should have left the house! I texted in to work (love technology!) and let them know the deal. I was worried I'd get in trouble, but luckily that didn't happen. It's not like I was up partying. I was hanging out with my bestie! ;)
This afternoon after work, my girlfriend Chris came over. She watched Samuel while I showered and got dressed, and the 3 of us went out for sushi. I brought Samuel's baby food, and he did very well.
Afterwards we headed to Babys R Us. There's nothing to cure the missing-your-husband blues like shopping. ;) Samuel has a new shirt and shorts for next summer, some sandals, and I got a baby mirror for the car. The summer stuff was on sale, and the fall stuff was starting to come out. Chris and I had fun checking out the Halloween stuff.

This is torture!!!
So tonight I'm praying that he sleeps ALL night and that we don't have any wake ups in the middle of the night. I'm tired! Definitely looking forward to the weekend. And Mr. Popular has been invited to 3 birthday parties!!! I'll be posting pictures! :)
