Run with the Chiefs 5K- DONE!!!

I signed up to run a 5K on base, and I've been a little nervous about it. I've done them before, but that was before I had Samuel. Today wasn't bad at ALL! All of the Sailors that are going through initiation to become a Chief Petty Officer (not me) were running in formation. Sooooo we had a few bottlenecks, and a few stops, and running in the grass to get around them. My run wasn't really for time, but for completion. I know next time I'll have it under 32 minutes.

But hey! How many Mamas can say they have an 8 month old and can run 3.1 miles???  :)
