What a day!!! We are trying to figure out what's causing Samuel's tummy troubles, so we switched over to a Soy formula from Similac. I guess the formula combined with the breastmilk he gets did NOT sit well with his poor tummy. He cried from 7 AM until 2:15 PM, with an hour break and a 30 minute break thrown in for good measure. Not a fun day to be at our house. Both of us cried. :(
By the time Jacob came home, Samuel had been asleep for a bit but then started to cry. Jacob's turn! I did want to post a picture of him tonight when Jacob came home. Knowing how much our little boy loves his hands but his Mama does NOT love being clawed to death, the mittens finally came out. He was not a happy camper!!!
In other news, I was able to tie up some crafting projects (since Jacob was home to see to Lil Bit) uninterrupted. We were given a few Christmas ornaments, and I wanted to get pictures in them before they got packed away. I've also been working on an 8x8 scrapbook for my mother-in-law, Lori, and I needed to add the pictures. (got the framework done in Oct; will post pics tomorrow) Plus a little mini album about pregnancy. I used a sheet of 12x12 paper from my scrapbook store and just cut up each of the squares. I'm not to worried about it lasting a lifetime, so I used cardboard that came with postage I ordered from USPS. Here you go!
By the way, I know we reached a milestone this week---- 1 MONTH OLD!!! Due to the tummy troubles, I haven't been able to get any 1 month photos taken. That's the plan for this weekend! ;)
I love the scrapbook! And it sounds like Samuel and Anna Reaghan would have been buddies today. Her tummy is off and she was rather clingy and unsettled as a result. Sorry your day was so rough. :( Hoping we can connect on the phone this weekend when daddies are around to help! :)
ReplyDeleteHey, if he is having troubles with eating it could be an alley, lactose intolerance, or even acid reflux. If it keeps up the pediatrician should be able to run some tests and get you some answers. By the way I love your scrapbook!
ReplyDeleteMeant to say allergy above.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you had such a rough day. Sigh. I hope the night was tons better! The scrapbook is WONDERFUL....and Daddy being home is WONDERFUL, too! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry it was a tough day. I sent a text but you were on the phone with Amy I think. Hope today is better! The projects look great!
