Jacob was able to get him in the car seat without tears (I think he adjusted the straps) ;)
Checking his pulse via his big toe
Glad Jacob was there to help
There's a monkey on the monkey!
I'm so cute! You'd never guess I woke up All. Night. Long. and got to hang out with Mama and Daddy
So the Doctor gave us Amoxocillin, the pink "bubble gum" medicine my sisters and I used to take for ear infections. Only this time it's in a brown PLASTIC bottle that goes in the fridge instead of a brown GLASS bottle that goes in the fridge. As soon as I smelled it, I was back in Dr. De Willingham's office playing with the tie dye balloons they used to give us. :) He was very old-school: white lab coat with his name embroidered on it, glass jars in his exam rooms with stuff in them, and he wore that round mirror thing on his head that he'd pull down when he examined you. I'll never forget those visits. Memories... :)
This afternoon Samuel has been VERY clingy with Mama. Daddy can't do anything right, but Mama makes it all better. I've been feeding him, and then we rock in the rocker in his room and relax until he falls asleep on my arm. He goes into his crib, sleeps about an hour, and we do it all over again. Tonight he got his 2nd dose of A'cillin about 6:45 PM and he's been asleep almost 2 hours now. I hope he gets better soon!
Tomorrow, if Samuel is feeling better AND Jacob and I get a solid night's sleep, we're planning on trying out a new church just down the street from our house. We're now in the market to find a new church. It's just time. And I have my monthly scrapbook class, so I'll be sharing those pages. AND I plan to make chocolate cake because my sisters are coming. Mom #2 (Hi Mrs. Guilford!!!) wants the recipe, so I'm going to take pictures as well and post them. :)
Please pray that Samuel starts feeling better soon! Hope you have a great Sunday!
