We got home Friday from work and it was gorgeous out! I got the car unpacked and things put away before Jacob got home. I had my scrapbook event the next morning, and I hadn't even pulled anything out yet. I sat down at the computer and uploaded pictures to my camera card. I have an amazing Epson PictureMate portable printer, so I was able to get it all done at home. Finally Jacob and I called it a night.
It had been pouring outside all evening, and Samuel woke up around midnight SO SCARED!!! :( He wasn't doing the "I'm hungry/I'm wet" cry, but rather the "Oh my gosh! Hold me tight!! What is going on?!?!!" cry. Jacob changed his diaper, and I fixed a bottle. I sent Jacob back to bed, and I thought it wouldn't take long for Samuel to be back to sleep. Wrong! At 12:45 he finally fell asleep.
Saturday I woke up around 7:30 AM and listened to Samuel chatter away in his room. It was cute. He's really starting to be aware of his surroundings and be able to entertain himself. So many exciting things- he has hands! And feet! And fingers!! I got up with him, fed him, ate some cereal, and handed him off to Jacob around 8:45 AM so I could finish getting ready to leave.
Sadly, I can't post any pictures of the stuff I made at the scrapbook event. There are a few people who read my blog who will be getting something in the mail soon. However, once it arrives, I will be posting on the blog. :) Lots of pictures!!
Today was uneventful. We got all our housework done, laundry washed, folded, and put away, clean sheets and towels, I changed Samuel's bed sheet, pulled the long sleeved stuff out of his drawer, put away my scrapbook stuff, packed the car for tomorrow, and finished my projects from yesterday.
And here I am, at 1:40 AM, wide awake. The creative juices were flowing tonight, and they won't stop!
I hate nights when I can't sleep. I was wound up on Sunday night as well. Can't wait to see my baby soon!
