My shopping buddy and I

I'm pretty fortunate that I have a sweet boy with a mild temperament that doesn't mind sitting in a buggy at the store. (for those of you Yankees, aka non-Southerners, a buggy is a shopping cart)  ;) This weekend is Tax Free Weekend in VA and NC as the families get ready for the school year. Lucky for me, it also includes baby clothes and diapers! Yeah!!! First stop, Sam's Club. As you can see, my little boy was VERY difficult at the store...

First 2 are from Sam's, the rest are from Babys 'R Us. Hard to believe I'm buying 18 month clothes!!!

Gotta have some red and black! Go NE!!  :) And some big boy jammies.

I also checked out the sale racks, and found some 12 and 18 month things that will last through the summer. With 95 degree heat, we're doing everything we can to be comfortable.

Extra crib sheets, bowls, and training cups.

When we left Greenbrier, I called my friend Nicole in VA Beach to see what she was doing. I had coupons for Dick's Sporting Goods, and decided to head out her way. She met up with us, fiancee and daughter Katie in tow.

We stopped at Old Navy, where I couldn't resist another romper, Team USA t-shirt, and a new grey t-shirt for our upcoming trip to TN.

I'll be running a base sponsored 5K race later this month and wanted to get some new shorts.

(Hooray for NOT having to wear Navy PT gear this time.)

What good are new shorts if you don't get new shirts, wrist water bottle, and a waist pouch to hold personal items???

After our mall trip, we were all pretty worn out. Adults included. We headed across the street to Cheeseburgers In Paradise and finished the day with burgers. A fun time was had by all.
