Samuel gets scrapped

Back in March of last year, I signed up for a monthly scrapbook class at my local scrapbook store. It was a great way for me to meet people (after being gone all of 2010 on deployment) and get out of the house and get crafty. I had a lot of fun, and it was neat to go back each month bigger and bigger as my pregnancy progressed.

When October's class rolled around, I was SUPER excited that we were using Christmas papers. Christmas = Samuel would be here!!! I couldn't contain my excitement during the class, and kept saying "Samuel will go on this page. I'm saving this layout for pictures of my baby!!"  :)  Over the holidays I added the pictures to the layout, and I think it turned out pretty well.

The December class was on my due date, the 11th, and I knew I wasn't going to make it. I picked up my kit from the class, and got the pages finished last week. I used some pictures that my Mom took of the 3 of us when she was here. The flowers included in the kit were REALLY thick, so I just used some flowers I had from Michael's. I didn't think it needed any journaling. The title speaks for itself..."Happiness is the 3 of us Together."

And one last picture to finish out this post. Because SOMEONE (and she knows who she is!!!)  ;) needs to see pictures of "her baby"!!

Second day back to work and he's home early. Again!! And I was told "Samuel's schedule isn't working for me. I need him to be awake when I come home. The minute I hear him on the moniter I'm going up there because I need to see my baby!!" He's as smitten with Samuel as I am!  :)
