Back to work

This weekend didn't go too fast, thank goodness. Usually the long weekends FLY by! On Sunday morning around 3:30 AM Samuel woke up coughing and wheezing. Of course I jumped out of bed like my hair was on fire, and FLEW into his room because I just KNEW he wasn't breathing! But he was. Part of being a new mom (I'm told) is the fear that your child will quit breathing. So true! After he finally went back to sleep I took some NyQuil due to ME not feeling well, and woke up around 11 AM. So much for church...

We hung out around the house on Sunday and Monday. Samuel and I both did quite a bit of sleeping, and I think we're both on the mend now. He has a cough, but nothing like before and the congestion seems to have lighted up.

Today we came home to more happy mail for Samuel.  :) I can tell G'ma and G'pa Hatfield are anxious to come for another visit!  :)

This little guy has really started to make noise now. When he "talks" to us, we talk back and he will usually respond. It's pretty neat. Hard to imagine life without him!  :)
